The former Healesville Freeway Reserve between Springvale Road in Forest Hill and Boronia Road in Vermont is being retained as public open space. DELWP has recently undertaken broad community consultation to understand how the local community and other stakeholders might like to use this space as the first step in turning this space into a new linear park.

Community and stakeholder consultation
Consultation for the first phase of the project has now closed and is the information gathered is currently being reviewed. We anticipate the draft report on this initial consultation and engagement process will be available online by the end of January 2017.
