Day one was intense with the fire traveling quickly across the desert and expanding to around 1000 hectares by Day 2.
We had a dozer trail completed around the fire ground and had it contained by Day 3.
The Wail Crew did a great job with support from Horsham and Cavendish to get us through the first night.”
