Lloyd shared these photos taken at Bairnsdale air base on 27 December. Lloyd mixed for the bombers who put retardant out over the fire and took a few images to show us more.
The firefighting helicopters working on the Tulloch Ard Road Tambo fire were the Helitack 369 with a long line, Helitack 343 (the Coulson) using long lines as well, and the Kestrel 367 Blackhawk. The sky crane Delilah worked on that fire too, filling up out of the Snowy River on the Tambo fire before it crossed the Snowy River.
The old trestle bridge at Wiearra was also saved.
